Our Chapters
Alpha Delta Pi
Though the Furman chapter of Alpha Delta Pi unites women of similar values, it is creates a home for a diverse group of women. The group includes members from all majors and many athletic teams, as well as holding numerous leadership positions in student organizations. The sorority is devoted to a number of philanthropic causes, such as The Ronald McDonald House, Relay for Life, and two other organizations founded by former members.
Chi Omega
The Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Chi Omega is composed of a group of women who are committed to deep and abiding friendships. The sorority is involved in a number of student organizations, including student government and Heller Service Corps. The organization also does work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Carolina Lutheran Outreach Center. Chi Omega is dedicated to scholarship and the personal development of its members.
Delta Delta
Delta
Founded in 1888 at Boston University, the purpose of Delta Delta Delta is to establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members, to develop a stronger and more womanly character, to broaden the moral and intellectual life, and to assist its members in every possible way. The sorority performs philanthropic work with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Frazee Center, a local after-school program for "at risk" children.
Kappa Kappa
Gamma
The Eta Alpha chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma represents an exceptional group of women. The sorority takes pride in its academics and is involved in a variety of student organizations. The group supports a number of non-profit organizations, including the Kappa Foundation, and Reading is Fundamental. Members of the organization also tutor students at Armstrong Elementary School.
Kappa Delta
Arriving at Furman in 1994, the Zeta Pi chapter of Kappa Delta consists of more than 100 students from across the country. The sorority works closely with Prevent Child Abuse America and the Girl Scouts of America. Its hosts the Shamrock 'N Run each year to raise money for the Julie Valentine Center, a local organization.
Delta Gamma
Founded in 1873 at the Lewis School for Girls in Mississippi, Delta Gamma encourages intellectual growth and service. It is the only sorority to create its own philanthropic organization, Service for Sight. The non-profit provides assistance to those with sight-related issues.
Zeta Tua Alpha
Zta arrived and was inducted into the Furman Greek community in 2015. The chapter is quickly growing and has already had an outstanding impact on campus. Zta's national philanthropy is Breast Cancer education and awareness and they work closely with the American Cancer Society.
